A Brand New MaineSource Food and Party Warehouse Store To Open Early Fall 2010 in Camillus, Hiring 45 new Employees and Making It Easier to Get Restaurant Quality Foods and Meats, Local produce, Party Supplies and kitchen supplies

April 26, 2010; Binghamton –Today’s consumer is increasingly interested in cutting food costs without sacrificing quality. The newest planned MaineSource store will be located at located at 3440 West Genesee Street, will give the value-conscious yet quality-driven consumer exactly what they’re looking for.

The new store will boast over 30,000 sq. ft. of floor space and is open to the public with no membership fees. The Camillus MaineSource store will hire approximately 45 employees and including Store Managers, Produce Managers, Meat Managers and customer service personnel.

Vice President of MaineSource Steve Ross expressed enthusiasm about the new location in Camillus building of its advantages for customers:

“This isn’t your typical warehouse store; you can tell by our expanded core departments and our customer service that rivals a small, upscale grocer. Take our meat department for example. There, a professional butcher custom-cuts meat to order our meat is not packaged at an of site location it is cut right in front of you. One of the most unique features of the MaineSource Food and Party Warehouse is the Value Card it offers to Organizations and Businesses. It comes with a 5% discount that adds up to some significant savings. It really helps organizations that do Fundraising activities such as Spaghetti Suppers; Chicken BBQ’s or operates Concession stands.

In addition to making it easier for customers to find quality Restaurant food and party supplies, the new MaineSource store also boasts the latest green technology inside. The store will be outfitted with motion-detecting switches and high-efficiency lighting and an environmentally friendly Glycol refrigeration system that reduces energy requirements.

MaineSource has another store that it just recently remodeled located at 628 South Main Street North Syracuse. The updated store is 34,000 sq. ft. and provides the same products that will be offered in the Camillus store.
