Camillus police ask for public’s help in drug store theft.

Camillus police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who took $1,700 worth of condoms and razors from the Kinney Drugs at 4202 W. Genesee St. in Fairmount.
The suspect entered the drug store at about 5:10 p.m. on April 21. Moving between two aisles over 9 to 10 minutes, the man put 23 kinds of condoms and razors in his pants and shirt before leaving the store. The total value of the theft was $1,739.99.

Two Camillus Police Receive Awards

At the CNY Chiefs of Police Association awards ceremony, SGT Rick Wise and Detective James Nightingale received the Associations of Law Enforcement Commendation Award for their investigative work in two major criminal cases during 2009.

Dodgeball Tournament at Shove Park May 8.

FabNine is sponsoring a Charity Dodgeball Tournament at the Shove Park Indoor Arena May 8th, 2010 at 11:30am. Entry is $100 per team and proceeds will go to benefit th eAmerican Diabetes Association.

For the fourth year in a row, we are bringing you the best local dodgeball tournament in the area. Once again we are donating all of the proceeds of this event to the American Diabetes Association. Camillus Bans Hydrofracking to Drill for Natural Gas

The town board passed a local law that bans drilling for natural gas using the horizontal hydraulic fracturing technique. The action does not affect vertical drilling, town Supervisor Mary Ann Coogan said.
