The Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office held a news conference Friday morning to announce that it will be seeking criminally negligent homicide charges for the September bus crash on the Onondaga Lake Parkway.
The crash killed a New Jersey teenager originally from Camillus, a Philadelphia college student from Kansas, a Malaysian preacher, and an information technology specialist from India.

A Marcellus woman is in critical condition following a crash on Route 5 in Camillus Wednesday afternoon.
Camillus police said their preliminary investigation showed Greta A. Jengo, 44, of 24 West Main St., didn’t stop for the traffic light at Bennetts Corners Road and drove her 2010 Ford four-door into the path of an oncoming tank truck.
Camillus Police Detectives make an arrest in suspicious package incident
Camillus Police detectives have made an arrest in the December 13, 2010 suspicious package incident that occurred on New York State Route 5 in the Town of Camillus. Arrested is Christopher Darren Bartels (DOB 10/18/1974) of 14 Arlington Square Camillus, New York 13031.
He was charged with:
• Placing A False Bomb Or Hazardous Substance In the Second Degree – Class E Felony
• Criminal Nuisance In The Second Degree – Class B Misdemeanor
Mr. Bartels was arraigned by Honorable Steven Poli, Camillus Justice Court and was remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center without bail.

The Camillus Police are investigating a Larceny that occurred at Walmart, Camillus NY. Suspects are one white male and one black male. They were last seen leaving the Walmart parking lot in a gold Cadillac CTS, Massachusetts plate # 67BF86 with a white female passenger. Anyone with any information about this incident or suspect vehicle is encouraged to call the Camillus Police at 315-435-2333.

Camillus Author Publishes New Book
Written in a stream-of-consciousness fashion, it is obvious that the author has been chewing over these questions for some time-but specifically, he believes in the use of logic rather than emotion for the attainment of knowledge.
