• Payments to 23 school districts would decrease 50 percent in the first year to $8 million. Payments would decrease to $4 million the second year. In year six, payments to schools would be cut again to $2 million.
Payments to 19 suburban towns and 15 villages would decrease 66 percent in the first year to about $24 million. In the second year, the payments would decrease to $7 million. After that, towns and villages would receive no sales tax money.
